Mobile robots can be a great help in search and research missions, especially in dangerous environments. However, there are restrictions in how far they can travel due to battery capacity. This research team is developing an algorithm for robots to collectively manage their energy, forming an energy supply chain to help push explorer robots further into environments without needing to come back and recharge.
