A Japanese roboticist who goes by the handle Dr. Guero (his real name: Masahiko Yamaguchi (his page is in Japanese)) has managed to get his Primer-V4 hobby robot to walk along a tightrope. That’s the first humanoid we’ve ever seen accomplish this feat without tricks. Now slacklines are the next frontier.
