Howard Rheingold provides a neat summary of Douglas Engelbart’s seminal work. Firstly, the ‘mother of all demos’ should be required viewing for everyone. Secondly, grasping Engelbart’s vision and why some of it has come to fruition while other parts haven’t is still highly relevant today as we add robotics, internet of things and augmented reality to the toolbox.
