Dominic Cassidy is a budding Roboticist who completed his MSc Robotics at Plymouth University. He has since continued work on his Masters project, aiming to develop low-cost and open source robotics hardware and software; focusing on supporting users with disabilities. His initial project working with Professor Guido Bugmann is the under £2000, open-source, Cheap Arm Project, giving users a teleoperated robot arm capable of lifting up to 2kg to a height of almost 2m.
