Filipe Neves dos Santos is from Portugal and works at InescPorto, one of the most leading research institutes in Portugal. He is a robotics researcher since 2003 and a robot enthusiast with a background in localization and navigation systems. Since 2010, he is trying to improve robot capabilities that allow them to understand humans. In 2007, he co-founded a start-up company that develops autonomous aerial vehicles for infrastructure monitoring.
