Kirstin Hagelskjær Petersen

With a background in EE and Modern AI, Kirstin specializes in designing
and constructing prototypes for bio-inspired robots. She is currently
finishing a graduate degree in CS at Harvard University and the Wyss
Institute in Boston, MA, focused on termites as inspiration for automated
collective construction. Prior research includes the EU-project, Cilia,
with the University of Southern Denmark, the Nordex project, ReGen, with
the Svenska Yrkeshogskolan, Finland, alongside several minor projects with
the Planetary Robotics Group at Jet Propulsion Lab in California. Her
hobbies include travel, hiking, and drawing.
