Marianne received her undergraduate and master’s degrees studying plant ecology from Northern Arizona University. In 2007, she completed a Ph.D. studying biomechanics from University of California, Irvine. After leaving California, she started a post-doctoral fellowship working with John Long in the Interdisciplinary Robotics Research Laboratory and the Biology Department at Vassar College. In 2014, Marianne opened the Florida Atlantic Biomechanics Lab at Florida Atlantic University.
