Paul Godsmark Chief Technology Officer at the
Canadian Automated Vehicles Centre of Excellence (CAVCOE), which provides consulting services, analysis, recommendations and other support to all stakeholders who will be involved in the launch of automated vehicles (AVs) and/or who will be impacted by their arrival. These stakeholders include all levels of government, public sector agencies (such as transit companies), private sector companies, industry associations, professional bodies, universities and university networks in Canada and other countries. He is also a member of the Autonomous Vehicle Task Force, a sub-group of the ITS Canada Connected Vehicle Committee.
His goal is to be an active member of the road safety community in Canada and globally, and to play a role in ensuring that we see significant reductions in fatalities and injuries.
