I am a research engineer in the field of cable-driven parallel robots. Currently I am working on the task of bringing the technology of cable-driven parallel robots into the field of motion simulation. In contrast to conventional parallel kinematics with rigid links, light-weight cables are used for actuation allowing to build high-performance robots with huge workspaces and high acceleration.
