Ransom Mowris is an assistant editor at RoboHub. In 2014, he graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with dual degrees in robotics engineering and professional writing. His theses at WPI involved improving human-robot interaction for iRobot's PackBot by implementing autonomous grasping behavior and critiquing rhetoric surrounding the DARPA Robotics Challenge.

Now, Ransom develops robotic biotech laboratory systems at HighRes Biosolutions. At RoboHub, he's interested in translating complex robotics topics for general audiences, delving into the ethics of robotics research, and exploring futuristic applications of robotics. Ransom spends most of his free time building bots, riding bikes, and reading books.
