Sonia Roberts is currently a postdoc at Northeastern University working with Prof. Kris Dorsey on soft sensors. She earned her PhD in 2021 from the University of Pennsylvania, where she worked with Prof. Dan Koditschek on legged robot locomotion on sand. She received her undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science, with a focus in computer science, from Vassar College and then worked for two years at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Janelia Farm Research Campus.
