Soft Robotics wants to get its speciality robot hands all over your food. Last week, the year-old startup announced a partnership with a California company that makes sorters, washers, and chopping equipment for produce manufactures that ship cut fruit and bagged and washed greens to stores like Costco.

Good partnerships starting to flow to some soft robotics companies. It’s only surprising that it’s taken this long for produce industry to realize what was out there.
