Transportation of medical equipment: Robots to replace couriers | Hospital Direct

DirectHopital.com describes how French Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) de Nantes are using two robots, “Betty” and “Daisy”, to improve efficiency in delivering sterile endoscopes to the ICU. The pilot for this on-demand logistics solution was deemed “very satisfactory”,  providing great flexibility to the ICU’s logistics and proving ROI between 18 and 24 months.
