share this:

“Toronto’s Upverter is a startup that’s poised to effect change that could reshape the landscape of entrepreneurship. ..hoping to build a cloud-based hardware engineering platform that can match and overtake its desktop-based counterparts within the next few years.”

The Robot Launch Pad‘s insight:

More than 10,000 electrical engineers, roboticists and hardware startups are already using the Upverter platform. It’s one of those ‘obvious in hindsight’ developments that really enables small scale production, collaborative design and rapid prototyping. Upverter is doing all the good web/software things, like Github, but for the ‘new industrial revolution’.
