150 robotics-related exhibitors in Las Vegas for PackExpo

… 26,000 attendees are expected for this year’s PackExpo being held in Las Vegas, September 23-25.
… Over 150 robotics-related companies are exhibiting including Rockwell Automation, Adept, ABB, Yaskawa Motoman, Fanuc and start-ups Universal Robots and Rethink Robotics.
… Material handling was one of the areas that did well in 2012 according to the IFR in their new World Robotics 2013 reports. In an article from RIA entitled “Robotics Industry Expected to Thrive in 2013,” packaging and palletizing applications were singled out for their accelerating growth.
