Aaron is a maker; from sculptures to business, he is fascinated with the process of taking an idea from concept to reality. He is passionate about creating physical computing interfaces that change the way in which we interact with technology. He is currently co-founder and CEO of Sproutel, the creator of Jerry the Bear – a robotic learning tool for children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Aaron has shared his expertise in robotics and entrepreneurship through speaking at numerous conferences including Hardware Innovation Workshop, Big Ideas Fest, CUSP, TEDxProvidence, IFTF, A Better World by Design, NYU Ambition, MakerFaire NYC and SEEED. He holds a degree in Mechatronics and User Interaction Design from Northwestern University and sits on the national advisory board of Design for America.
