Ben Vagle is 16 years old and has been building mechanical walkers for the past 4 years, at both LEGO-scale, and SUV-scale. He started the blog www.diywalkers.com to share what he'd learned, and to collaborate with YOU. He is dedicated to helping inspire students to learn the skills necessary to design and build robots. He started by building Klann's amazingly robust Mechanical Spider, Jansen's beautiful Strandbeest and hisown TrotBot in LEGO, and then was a member of the team that scaled up TrotBot in his garage. Currently, he's leading the building of TrotBot ver 2.0 at SUV-scale.
