Kevin founded Plum Geek to design new robotics and technology platforms that are easy to hack and to learn from. He is driven to invite new people into the field of technology, coding, and robot science. He is mostly self-taught thanks to the many people who have shared their ideas and open source knowledge on the internet.
Kevin has worked as a hardware and product developer for the photography industry for the past six years with a knowledge of embedded systems and wireless communications.
He is inspired by and includes his two kids in the design process. Kevin operates a design and manufacturing shop located near Portland, OR, where the Ringo robots will be produced.
