Weixuan received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2013, and received the Grashof Prize for his outstanding bachelor studies. Subsequently, he started his master’s studies in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich, with focus on control theory and robotics. He was awarded the Willi Studer prize 2016 for the best master degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since November 2015 he has been pursuing a doctorate at ETH Zurich under Professor D’Andrea.
