In this guest lecture, Minoru Asada from Osaka University, Japan, talks about combining developmental psychology, neuroscience, and robotics into “Cognitive Developmental Robotics”, a new paradigm that provides an understanding of ourselves and at the same time serves as a design theory of humanoid symbiosis with us.

The ShanghAI Lectures are a videoconference-based lecture series on Embodied Intelligence, run and organized by Rolf Pfeifer (from 2009 till 2012), Fabio Bonsignorio (since 2013), and me with partners around the world.
