Faster ways to design, finance and build prototypes are cutting the costs and reducing the risks of developing new products, helping Silicon Valley return to its hardware roots.
Great article, but overhyping the crowdfunded overachievers creates the impression that funding hardware is easy, when there are still great robotic companies struggling for lead investors in their Series A rounds even though they have distribution and cofunders lined up.
