Space Systems/Loral (SSL) designs and builds satellites and spacecraft systems for commercial and government customers around the world. With customers such as DIRECTV, Dish Network and Intelsat, SSL satellites are used for a wide range of services including television broadcast, broadband internet, mobile communications, and other telecommunications applications. The world leader in commercial satellites, the company is based in Palo Alto, CA.
