In this development video, hosted by Jesse Gray & Matt Berlin of Team Jibo and the MIT Media Lab, we’ll discuss how Jibo uses movement, sound, LEDs, and screen graphics to communicate with people and convey emotion and intention.

Our goal is to give the Jibo developer community the tools and support they need to make expressive content that takes advantage of all of these output modalities.

To help our developers create compelling skills, we’ve given Jibo a sophisticated animated system that builds on more than a decade of research from Jibo’s founder, Dr. Cynthia Breazeal’s personal robotics group at the MIT Media Lab.
