Reddit AMA with Robohub team

Robohub_reddit_AMAEver wondered how to publicize your robotics research? Looking for tips on crowdfunding your robotics startup? Need help connecting with colleagues, or advice on technical aspects of your project? Robohub is excited to be invited by Reddit mods to participate in an Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) event at /r/robotics starting Tuesday April 28th at 2pm Eastern. Several contributing and founding members from the Robohub team will be answering questions from the /u/Robohub account, so be sure to join us tomorrow afternoon and over the next few days with your questions about all things robotic- and Robohub-related. 

The following Robohub team members will be participating in the AMA, so please ping us with your questions!

  • Hallie Siegel, Managing Editor of Robohub
  • Sabine Hauert, Co-Founder of Robohub and Lecturer at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and University of Bristol where she designs swarms of nanobots for biomedical applications.
  • Andra Keay, Robohub’s Director of Industry & Startup Relations, and Managing Director of Silicon Valley Robotics, an industry group supporting the innovation and commercialization of robotics technologies. Andra is also founder of Robot Launchpad for startups, and cofounder of Robot Garden, a new robotics hackerspace.
  • Audrow Nash, Director of the Robot’s Podcast, Robohub’s award-winning bi-weekly podcast with interviews from robotics experts since 2008.
  • Travis Deyle, Robohub Expert Panel Member, developer of the Smart Contact Lens project at Google [x] and author of Hizook, a robotics news blog for academics and professionals.
  • Myke Predko, Robohub Contributor, and CTO of Mimetics, designer of the Jade Robot, robotics educator, and author of several books and tutorials on robotics.
  • Michael Savoie, Robohub Contributor, and Founder of Frostbyte Technologies – a start-up aimed at developing autonomous outdoor mobile robots.
