Adrien Briod is CTO and co-founder of Flyability, a spin-off from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) dedicated to turning drones into real partners for humans. After a MSc in robotics at EPFL and Harvard University, Adrien pursued a PhD at EPFL (Laboratory of Intelligent Systems) during which he developed and patented novel approaches for the stabilization of flying robots in cluttered environments. Through 6 years of research in the field, Adrien mastered all aspects of the flying robots technology including mechanical, electrical and software engineering.
