Chris Mailey learned to read by playing video games and has been working with robots for most of his life. By day he is the Vice President for Knowledge Resources at AUVSI, wherein he leads a small research team developing new products to support the robotics community. At night he builds robots in his basement, secretly hoping this will improve his standing with our future robot overlords. He spent eight years as a civilian working for the US Navy, developing new maritime robotics capabilities.
