KMel Robotics has been acquired by Qualcomm Technologies, a global tech company based in San Diego. KMel’s founders, two University of Pennsylvania graduates, announced the news on their company’s website.

Last month, local tech blogger Technical.ly reported that the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) was looking for a “tiny, speedy drone,” and that it had its eyes on KMel.
