PatrolBot Mark II from Norris Labs

Not to be confused with another PatrolBot from Adept MobileRobots, this one uses a Kinect to see and a loud horn and water jet to chase away unwanted animals, depicted in this video by an inanimate bunny but it would probably work just as well on deer. This would seem to be a promising approach to keeping the critters from overrunning your garden.  Steve Norris says the project will be presented in the next issue of Robot Magazine.
