by
26 April 2014

share this:

“Robots, Drones, and Data driven agronomy are changing the landscape of agriculture around the world. The Oregon Precision Farming Expo will definitely change the way you think about the future of farming.

“Gathering some of the best minds in precision agriculture, the OPFE14 will offer attendees the opportunity to take an active part in how we go about shaping America’s next generation of agriculture.

“Hosted at the world famous Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, the OPFE14 expo floor will display recent advances in precision Ag technology alongside the aviation wonders of the last century.

“In the Museum’s IMAX Theater, research and industry leaders will share their knowledge in interactive presentations and workshops.”

John Payne‘s insight:

I’m embarrassed to say that this event was already over before I learned about it, having taken place in early April. Even so, the nature of the event, the range and stature of presenters and exhibitors, and the fact that the event was sold out, show that, as an industry, agriculture is ready to move forward with incorporating both data-driven management and robotic machinery into their practices and toolset.
