The EU-funded Collective Cognitive Robotics (CoCoRo) project has built a swarm of 41 autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) that show collective cognition. Throughout 2015 – The Year of CoCoRo – we will be uploading a new weekly video detailing the latest stage in its development. This video shows a prototype of the “Jeff” autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV).
This video shows a prototype of the “Jeff” autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) with high maneuverability for exploring underwater habitat, and the ability to dock to the base station on the water surface. The video also shows a swarm of “Lily” AUVs making the largest autonomous underwater swarm in the world.
